About life here at West Coventry Academy

Wellbeing Collective Activity

West Coventry Academy is raising money for St Basils, a charity that has helped both staff and students in the local area.

Staff are participating in a 'Wellbeing Collective Activity' that is encouraging staff to get out of the home and clock up some miles be it through walking, cycling, running or horse-riding. The focus of this is to raise mental health awareness whilst encouraging staff to look after their own. Staff are clocking up the miles to reach landmarks around the world by getting out in the open air and taking those moments to free their mind and improve mental wellbeing.

Whilst doing this, we aim to raise some money for a charity that focusses on this for both adults and young people and there is no better charity than St Basils to do this for. They have helped both staff and students alike in the past and we are proud to be supporting them.
