Careers: Students

For College Enrolments in August 2020

All applicants who have accepted their offer of a place at Coventry College will be enrolled online – this is a new process and has been created to maximise safety for school leavers. All applicants will receive further information on this process shortly.

Warwickshire College have also arranged enrolments online.

Students should receive information about this but please check the individual college websites for any further information and contact direct if you have any queries.

If you are still unsure, please contact Mrs Day – School Careers Advisor who will try to help.

This may seem difficult, but if you are considering an apprenticeship you can still apply.

However, please have a Plan B such as Further Education (6th Form or College).

Applications are still being processed but any events & support will be given ‘virtually’.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Update of contingency plans for applicants

As a result of the decisions by Government and Public Health England (PHE) which we wholly endorse and to which we are adhering; it has become necessary for us to become innovative in our approach to ensuring that all young people who have applied to Coventry College are not disadvantaged in any way in terms of their career/education ambitions.

We have therefore decided that all applicants will be offered a conditional place on the course of their choice, as indicated by their application via our website. These offers will be conditional on them attending an interview with the College when circumstances allow. Also, that they meet the entry criteria for the course to which they applied.

Providing they meet the terms of the conditional offer, they can be assured of a place on the course of choice. If, however, they are not as successful as their predicted grades are concerned, they need not worry as we will be in a position to offer them a place on a course at the appropriate level.
